Product introduction

– Arasena S is an antiviral medication used to treat recurrent cold sores caused by the herpes virus. simplex . This product contains vidasabine (vidarabine) as the active ingredient, which inhibits the growth of the virus. The cream/ointment with a vaseline base helps protect and soothe the affected skin area.

Uses

– Treatment of recurrent herpes simplex lip ulcers (cold sore).

– Use only if previously diagnosed and treated for herpes by a doctor.

Ingredient

– Main active ingredient: vidasabin (vidarabine) — 30 mg/1 g of drug.

– Pharmaceutical base: vaseline.

Instructions for use

Use:

– Apply cream/ointment 1–4 times/day to the affected skin area.

– Start as soon as signs of an impending blister appear (such as itching, burning).

– Should be used after meals and before going to bed.

– Treatment should be started within 5 days of symptom onset.

– Contraindications & warnings:

Do not use if:

– Never been diagnosed with herpes.

– Widespread lesions, accompanied by fever and rash.

– Hypersensitivity to drug ingredients.

Children under 6 years old.

Be cautious if:

Pregnant, breastfeeding

– Taking other medications

– Have atopic skin.

Monitoring & Side Effects:

– Follow-up: After a maximum of 5 days, if there is no improvement, stop and see a doctor.

– Side effects: Local irritation (redness, burning, itching).

Preserve

– Close tightly, store in a dry place below 30°C, avoid direct sunlight.

– Keep out of reach of children.

– Do not transfer the bottle, do not use past the expiration date (discard after 6 months of opening).
